Groenscup 2011

Groenscup is an annual sporting event among Indonesian students who study in Netherland. Groenscup has been running since 2002. This year (2011), the Indonesian Students Association (PPI) Groningen organizes this activity for the tenth time.

The event will be held on:

Saturday and Sunday, 11 dan 12 June 2011;
in di ACLO Sports Center, Blauwborgje 16, 9747 AC Groningen.

There are seven sports organized on Groenscup 2011:

• Indoor Soccer (Futsal)

• Basketball

• Table Tennis Team, each consist of 2 singles & 1 double

• Badminton

2. Single (Woman)
3. (Mixed) Double

• Chess
• Arm-wrestling
  

1. Men level I :> 75 kg
2. Men level II : <= 75 kg Women

The ones who are eligible to participate in this event:

• Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia for the Netherlands and its Staff.

• Indonesian students in reside in the Netherlands and Europe.

• Indonesia society, guests and other invited parties.

Groenscup 2011 aims to:

1. Build and establish kinship and brotherhood, also shape up the spirit of sportsmanship for the youth of Indonesia; in this case for Indonesian students reside in Holland and Europe.
2. Unite Indonesian community in the Netherlands and Europe. It’s also intended to commemorate the National Education and the National Awakening Day of Indonesia.
